About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and lead the audit validation activities as part of the Northern Trust’s Risk and Control Enhancement transformation program
- Oversee and manage all audit activities within assigned areas of responsibility
- Establish an effective risk-based audit program
- Complete risk assessments, propose changes to the audit universe and propose audit plan, including coverage and timing
- Develop and maintain continuous monitoring activities to keep abreast of changes in the business Units and corporate functions and to continue partnering with key stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) experience
- Advanced compliance regulation knowledge
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Effective business writing and presentations
- Strong knowledge of regulatory rules and industry changes
- Experience of transformation programs and auditing Enterprise, Operational and Compliance Risk Management activities
