About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform daily review of reconciliations and execute controls to analyze and understand all security and cash position differences related to reconciliations.
Efficiently coordinates break resolution process between client, operations teams, and custodian banks.
Affirmation/Confirmation of equity & fixed income securities in US and International Markets.
Manage the settlement of various securities by liaising with brokers and addressing discrepancies in SSIs and trade details
Review and monitor trading activity to ensure accurate trade details are submitted to the market
Ensure accuracy of transaction agreements and modifications
Works closely with implementation team to ensure seamless handoff and setup of new client accounts.
Assists with project work related to increasing efficiency and improving control environment.
Prioritize time accordingly to action trade breaks by end of day
Effectively address a number of internal and external audiences in a professional manner
Assist in the training of personnel internationally
Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, and Economics preferred) or relevant proven work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
May be entry level or 1-3 years of experience in financial services industry
