About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform daily review of reconciliations and execute controls to analyze and understand all security and cash position differences related to reconciliations.
- Efficiently coordinates break resolution process between client, operations teams, and custodian banks.
- Affirmation/Confirmation of equity & fixed income securities in US and International Markets.
- Manage the settlement of various securities by liaising with brokers and addressing discrepancies in SSIs and trade details
- Review and monitor trading activity to ensure accurate trade details are submitted to the market
- Ensure accuracy of transaction agreements and modifications
- Works closely with implementation team to ensure seamless handoff and setup of new client accounts.
- Assists with project work related to increasing efficiency and improving control environment.
- Prioritize time accordingly to action trade breaks by end of day
- Effectively address a number of internal and external audiences in a professional manner
- Assist in the training of personnel internationally
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, and Economics preferred) or relevant proven work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- May be entry level or 1-3 years of experience in financial services industry
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
