About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Co-ordinate and manage documentation around business interaction with internal audit, risk & control teams, bringing in relevant SME’s where required and ensuring deliverables are consistently met
Work within the NT issue management standards following any issues until resolution
Work with Sales & Trading partners to provide business support, allowing those teams to prioritize client facing and risk management responsibilities
Document existing processes: draft policies, procedures, process flows, and other key documentation required to support the FX business
Liaise with key stakeholders across the 3 lines of defense to understand enterprise risk program standards and demonstrate how the business is addressing those risks
Partner with subject matter experts to write-up any incidents or near misses, or loss events
Assess existing front-office processes and help identify strategic changes identified as improvement opportunities
Develop strong knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures relevant to GFX, and take lead in ensuring regulatory and enterprise standards are met

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven professional experience at within financial services or consulting firm and possesses a deep knowledge in Foreign Exchange trading
Understanding and/or experience of a robust Risk & Control framework, including operating within a 3 lines of defense model
Proven capability in high-quality execution, including both independent delivery, as well as supporting cross-functional stakeholders to drive change
Has deep knowledge of key business processes, products and services within the GFX
Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to present complex information that can be understood by non-subject matter experts
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work with team members of all levels across regions and time zones
