About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Wealth Management sales leadership and partners with market, sales, and growth-related initiatives
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing plans for target client segments and priority geographies
- Conduct research and analysis to support new business opportunities, including prospective clients, referral partners, and centers of influence
- Help prepare calling strategies, prospect lists, and supporting materials for advisors, relationship managers, and sales teams
- Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to support growth reporting and decision-making
- Assist with basic financial analysis and modeling related to business performance, growth initiatives, and strategic investments
- Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for internal stakeholders, including sales leadership and cross-functional partners
- Support cross-functional projects involving sales, marketing, product, and operations
- Perform preliminary analysis and data gathering to support larger strategy and planning efforts
- Maintain working knowledge of Northern Trust Wealth Management client segments and sales processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in financial services, sales support, analytics, strategy, or a related role preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Basic to intermediate financial analysis and modeling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with sales or CRM tools preferred
- Strong organizational, process, and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
