About the role
- Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT systems architecture.
- Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Monitors project schedules and costs.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
- Handles the most complex IT architecture projects involving multiple disciplines or ambiguous IT architecture issues.
- Coordinates with users to determine requirements.
- Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for a team.
- Leads others to solve complex problems.
- Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
Requirements
- Typically required ten years of experience.
- Specialized knowledge of systems architecture.
- Excellent consultative skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
