About the role

  • Monitor and agree settlements cash flows with counterparties
  • Review trade confirmations versus the trade capture system
  • Process novations and client transitions
  • Provide trade information to Fund Accountants, Trustees and Third Party Administrators
  • Monitor performance of counterparties and provide feedback to clients
  • Investigate and resolve queries and enquiries from internal and external clients
  • Produce client reporting
  • Perform bulk bookings and deletions for transitions in and out of NT
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions from Tri-Resolve portfolio reconciliations
  • Provide support to the Team Leader
  • Prepare settlements and process OTC cashflows accurately and on time
  • First review of confirmation for OTC trades accurately and on time
  • Liaise with Clients and Market Counterparties to resolve discrepancies
  • Proactively address all queries in a time efficient manner
  • Ensure team duties completed within internal, market and SLA deadlines
  • Ensure controls are adhered to and evidenced daily
  • Follow and update procedures regularly
  • Undertake tactical and strategic initiatives to improve performance
  • Attend internal and external meetings with Clients and Counterparties where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Derivative Operations preferred but not essential
  • Transferable skillset considered
  • Strong team player
  • Self-starter and flexible
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An eye for accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Good prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Organises own workload and establishes priorities
  • PC skills particularly MS Office required
  • Financial background is preferred but not essential
