About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Functions in a point-of-care, hands-on role as a nurse expert, educator, and consultant for assigned departments
- Provides educational support for organizational safety and improvement initiatives
- Demonstrates and maintains depth and breadth of knowledge, skills, and competence in nursing specialty
- Serves as a consultant for education requests within NAH
- Researches, recommends, and facilitates nursing specialty education for nurse residents, nurse interns, and/or any other program for new to specialty nurses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate degree or completion date within 3 years if hired after August 1st 2024 (If graduate degree is not in nursing, it must be in a related field and a BSN is required)
- BSN within 3 years if hired prior to August 1st 2024 to be completed by July 1st 2027
- Current RN License
- National nurse professional board certification or attainment within 1 year of hire
- A minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing practice required
