About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Functions in a point-of-care, hands-on role as a nurse expert, educator, and consultant for assigned departments
- Provides educational support for organizational safety and improvement initiatives
- Works in partnership with leadership to support onboarding, staff development, and promotion of practice excellence
- Aids in preparation for regulatory and accreditation reviews
- Researches, recommends, and facilitates nursing specialty education for nurse residents and interns
- Develops and initiates training programs to facilitate clinical care competency goals
- Evaluates practice in relation to standards, guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate degree completion within 3 years if hired after August 1st 2024 (if not in nursing, must be in a related field and BSN required)
- BSN within 3 years if hired prior to August 1st 2024 to be completed by July 1st 2027
- Current RN License
- National nurse professional board certification or attainment within 1 year of hire
- A minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing practice required
