Community Relations Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support NAH participation in community boards, commissions and events by tracking engagement, preparing materials and ensuring follow-up.
- Assist in planning, logistics and promotion of NAH-sponsored or co-hosted health events, screenings and outreach activities.
- Staff NAH's presence at community events, including tabling, distributing materials and documenting community feedback.
- Manage intake and coordination of sponsorship applications, ensuring compliance with guidelines and alignment with NAH priorities.
- Collect and organize feedback, stories and metrics for reporting and evaluation.
- Contribute to internal communications that highlight NAH's community involvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, public health, or related field - Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community relations, public affairs, nonprofit engagement or event coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort working with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
