About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Escorts patients from waiting area to exam room; communicates information regarding any extended wait or delay in appointment time.
- Assists in transporting patients, equipment and supplies.
- Takes vital signs and basic historical patient data.
- Prepares patients for examinations, assists with examinations, cast or splint applications, minor procedures, and a variety of other medically related tasks within the scope of knowledge.
- Instructs patients on urine collection procedures.
- Maintains department cleanliness including following procedures for clean up after treatments.
- Maintains equipment and supplies inventories.
- Assists patients with donning/doffing compression garments as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED- Required
- Current, unrestricted CNA or LNA license in the State of Arizona- Required
- BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
- Fingerprint Clearance: If employee does not have an Arizona LNA license: - Fingerprint Clearance Card application number- Required upon hire - Fingerprint Clearance Card- Required within 90 days from date of hire
