About the role

  • Responsible for strategic program roadmaps and for the successful implementation of architectural solutions surrounding NAH's primary data warehouse domains
  • Works directly with organizational leadership to design and implement enterprise-wide transformation and deliver business value
  • Leads a team of solution architects, consultants and key partners in the delivery of pragmatic solutions, aligned to strategic program road-maps
  • Facilitates the incorporation of new data sources to the data warehouse(s), by leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary implementation teams
  • Builds up greater architectural competencies within the team
  • Manages both the governance of day-to-day operations and implementation of special projects
  • Participates in the development of the organization's Business Intelligence strategy and operational capabilities
  • Collaborates with senior leaders to develop program solution architectures, articulating strategies and trade-offs to stakeholders, senior management and business partners
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence best practices
  • Champion Data Stewardship, by working with data source owners and subject matter experts to regularly validate the completeness and accuracy of data

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years of relevant experience- Required
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience- Required
  • Master's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience- Preferred
  • Relevant certifications, with a focus on Database and Data Warehousing Technologies, Tableau Server, Cerner and/or Infor/Lawson- Preferred
  • Six Sigma/Lean certification- Preferred
  • Experience and demonstrated mastery of OLTP and OLAP database modeling, methods and concepts, in support of fulfilling business requirements- Required
  • Proven professional, incorporating new and evolving technologies into solution designs, with experience developing strategic system roadmaps- Required
  • Extensive healthcare industry experience (e.g., electronic health records, interoperability, HIPAA/data security and privacy, or master data management)- Required
  • Experience in Matrix organizations and leadership structures, preferably with time spent in functional leadership roles- Required
