About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administers various employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, life insurance
- Handles benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes
- Serves as the primary contact for employees regarding benefit questions
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee benefits
- Develops and delivers benefits communications to employees
- Provides administrative support to the leaders of HR
- Manages the calendar of the HR VP and assists with scheduling meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in Human Resources
- Current national certification in HR (PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
- Three years experience in an HR position, or promotion from within HR with one full year of experience in HR required
- Experience in large healthcare organizations, knowledge of accreditation standards strongly preferred
- Excellent research and analysis, budgeting, organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications
- Knowledge of Federal and State law and regulations regarding employment, benefits administration, and Compliance Agency enforcement
