💰 $36 - $41 per hour

About the role

  • Administers various employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, life insurance
  • Handles benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes
  • Serves as the primary contact for employees regarding benefit questions
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee benefits
  • Develops and delivers benefits communications to employees
  • Provides administrative support to the leaders of HR
  • Manages the calendar of the HR VP and assists with scheduling meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in Human Resources
  • Current national certification in HR (PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
  • Three years experience in an HR position, or promotion from within HR with one full year of experience in HR required
  • Experience in large healthcare organizations, knowledge of accreditation standards strongly preferred
  • Excellent research and analysis, budgeting, organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications
  • Knowledge of Federal and State law and regulations regarding employment, benefits administration, and Compliance Agency enforcement
