About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide ASL interpretation services for clients and staff in person & remotely as needed
- Travel to appointments and assignments as required
- Adhere to all HIPAA requirements and professional Code of Ethics
- Participate in continuing education and professional training for interpreters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in American Sign Language required
- NIC, RID, or equivalent certification preferred
- Cultural knowledge of the Deaf community and its resources
- Familiarity with Mental Health conditions/experience working in a Behavioral Health setting strongly preferred
- Two years interpreting experience
