About the role

  • Planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies for mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) casualty and personnel support systems.
  • Ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.
  • Support the full system lifecycle including discovery, development, modernization, integration, deployment, and operations & sustainment.
  • Working within an Agile DevSecOps framework to ensure all solutions meet functional, performance, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance and software/system testing.
  • Experience testing enterprise web-based applications and integrated systems.
  • Experience developing automated and manual test cases and scripts.
  • Experience supporting Agile and DevSecOps development environments.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience validating data migrations, interfaces, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements including RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIG compliance.
  • Experience testing cloud-hosted systems (AWS preferred).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (desired).
  • Experience supporting DoD casualty, personnel, or mission-critical enterprise systems (desired).
  • Experience testing systems hosted in AWS GovCloud (IL2–IL5) (desired).
  • Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines (desired).
  • Familiarity with API testing and integration testing tools (desired).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and secure system validation (desired).
  • Experience supporting ATO documentation and security control validation (desired).
  • Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE), ISTQB, or similar QA certification (desired).
  • Security+ or other DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification (desired).
  • Experience supporting large-scale data migration and validation efforts (desired).
