About the role
- Assure the safety and security of our employees and visitors.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to medical and brewery emergencies.
- Lock down/open up brewery and monitor facility via surveillance cameras, vehicle, or foot patrols.
- Monitor 50+ surveillance cameras for external access and Company parking lots.
- Monitor Simplex fire alarm system including ammonia hazard awareness.
- Perform security rounds, facility tours, monthly inspections, and mobile patrol throughout the brewery.
- Work the front desk reception area to professionally greet and log-in visitors.
- Provide security assistance with patrons to the Genesee Brew House as needed.
- Work with community neighborhood and Law Enforcement Agencies for the safety of the area.
Requirements
- NYS Security License
- Current on 16-hour OJT or 8-hour renewal
- NYS Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice is a plus
- 1 year of Security experience or more preferred
- First Responder Certification
- AED/BAT certifications
- Ability to assess and diffuse contentious situations; confront employees, patrons, contractors, and pedestrians; and maintain strict confidentiality.
