About the role

  • Advise clients from the public sector and regulated industries on designing and evolving solutions around digital identities, eIDAS 2.0, and the EUDI wallet
  • Analyze business, regulatory, and technical requirements and translate them into target visions, solution approaches, and implementation steps
  • Design use cases and functional architectures for wallet ecosystems, verifiable credentials, issuer/verifier scenarios, authentication, signatures, and digital proofs
  • Structure and facilitate workshops with clients, business units, architecture, IT, data protection, and other stakeholders
  • Develop business concepts, decision documents, roadmaps, and implementation plans for complex transformation initiatives
  • Support tenders, market analyses, product and ecosystem strategies, and preparation and execution of pilot and implementation projects
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams from consulting, architecture, design, and engineering to turn strategic requirements into practical solutions
  • Depending on experience level, take responsibility for work packages, functional streams, or subprojects and support colleagues through active knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Degree in business informatics, computer science, public administration IT, business, law, political science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in technology or management consulting, digitalization projects, or building digital platforms and services
  • Strong understanding of digital identities, eIDAS 2.0, EUDI wallet, trust services, verifiable credentials, SSI, IAM, or related fields
  • Experience structuring complex requirements and translating them into concepts, roadmaps, and decision-making materials
  • Confident presence in workshops and stakeholder management, enjoy direct client communication
  • Experience in AI tools
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong interest in regulatory, organizational, and technical aspects of European identity ecosystems
  • At least C1 German and good English skills (written and spoken)
