About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure personal health, security, and safety and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
  • Oversee manufacturing operations, including production, packing, finishing, production control, plant engineering, and maintenance
  • Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and resource utilization
  • Evaluate staffing, quality, delivery, unit production, and cost control
  • Drive continuous improvement through process development and procedural enhancements
  • Coordinate production planning with sales and production teams
  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs and environmental controls are maintained and improved
  • Manage facility budgets and procurement
  • Report to the Plant Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing management, preferably in metallurgy environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business, or 10 years of relevant experience and training
  • Ability to assess production methods and drive improvements through training and process optimization
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/QS standards and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical and regulatory documents
  • Ability to work with probability, statistics, and geometry
  • Ability to understand and apply work and safety instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience handling complex variables in environments with limited standardization
