About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Development and design of aluminium systems for windows, doors and facades
- Design and optimization of safety-critical system solutions
- Creation of 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings and documentation
- Planning, monitoring and evaluation of tests and approval procedures
- Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and requirements
- Close collaboration with internal departments, suppliers and testing bodies
- Continuous improvement of existing product platforms
- Technical support for product launches and system developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the development and design of aluminium systems, facades, window or door systems
- Knowledge of fire protection, burglary protection and/or ballistic protection is a plus
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor
- Good knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards and safety requirements
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
