About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prioritize safety as the top concern, ensuring all safety protocols, policies, and procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Diagnosing malfunctions in automated systems, identifying faulty components, and repairing or replacing them efficiently
  • Understanding and modifying PLC logic to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes
  • Understanding and modifying Robot programs to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes
  • Identifying and resolving issues with electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components
  • Implementing new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades to improve system functionality
  • Monitoring system performance metrics, identifying trends, and generating reports to inform decision-making
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation or an associate degree in Automation and Robotics
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical degree or equivalent to 2+ years of formal technical training required
  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation components such as Robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC control logic
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in an automated manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to analyze technical issues and implement solutions with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving efficiency
  • Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Ability to interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in CMMS software, MS Office, and industrial automation software for documentation and troubleshooting
