About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex escalations and support engineers in security troubleshooting and decision-making
- Act as the go-to technical authority for firewall and security-related issues
- Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise firewall policies and security flows
- Contribute to architecture and security design decisions
- Drive operational improvements, standards, and automation
- Mentor engineers and elevate the team’s technical depth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of hands-on network security / firewall experience
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewalls (design, troubleshooting, optimization)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise network security concepts
- CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent
- Ability to operate across operations, architecture, and strategy
- Experience with cloud networking & secure access solutions (Zscaler or similar) is an advantage
