About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process customer purchase orders, including order entry, acknowledgment, part setup, and pricing verification
- Manage customer accounts and handle communications via phone and email
- Adapt and provide support for additional accounts as needed
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers
- Enter purchase order requisitions
- Report and resolve customer complaints
- Maintain organized files
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience required
- Experience in extrusion or manufacturing customer service is desirable
- Familiarity with Oracle P.O. management is considered an asset
- Exposure to inventory and planning processes
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Working knowledge of AS400 is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in handling customer interactions via telephone and email
- Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strong math skills.
