About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface with customers and manufacturer representatives, representing the company and strengthening relationships across the assigned region.
  • Execute sales activities in alignment with the company’s market strategy, values, and established policies and procedures.
  • Build, manage, and continuously develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Lead forecasting, sales analysis, and market intelligence efforts to support data-driven decision-making and effective sales execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer partnerships to drive retention, increase market share, and support long-term business growth.
  • Identify and capture new conduit business opportunities across existing and new customers
  • Maintain strong knowledge of customer needs, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with customer service, planning, and plant operations teams to resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of service and operational alignment.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align customer expectations with operational capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance updates, forecasts, and management reports, highlighting opportunities, risks, and key trends.
  • Maintain a strong presence within the assigned territory, including residing in or relocating to a strategic regional location.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in front-line sales or account management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in conduct or electrical supplies preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and sales processes
  • Proven experience in account management and building customer relationships
  • Hands-on experience in the electrical market preferred
  • Experience in the soft-alloy aluminum extrusion industry is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with regional sales teams to coordinate account management efforts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving growth objectives
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
  • Extensive travel required within the assigned region
