Project Expert, GBS Finance Projects

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure timely delivery of project activities are met with high-quality within approved budget
- Act as a role model to project participants and support team throughout all project phases
- Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, based on the pre-agreed RACI
- Take part in project budget planning, defining project timeline, RACI, communication plan
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outlines tasks, timelines, and resources
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Prepare and hold update meetings on project statuses
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards and documentation to management and stakeholders
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective teamwork throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for enhancement through digital finance tools
- Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize project delivery and outcome
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance field
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
- College / University degree or similar in finance field
- Fluent English is a must. Any other language is a plus
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate when communicating, engaging people at all levels
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to create an environment that delivers excellent customer service, inspiring change in people and work culture
- Strong skill set including decision making , problem solving , time management , planning analysis and organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build partnerships both internally and externally with key stakeholders
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate processes are being used
- Knowledge of finance softwares any project management tool is an advantage
- Hands-on experiences in different finance processes is an advantage
- Confident usage of MS excel and Power Point
