About the role
- In a context of high-strategic-value projects with long decision-making cycles, you will act as a WICONA Business Development Engineer for the Île-de-France region, working at the heart of commercial building, residential and major urban development operations.
- Reporting to the WICONA Key Accounts Director and as a member of a team of six business development engineers across France, you will promote the brand, product offering, new projects and opportunities to specifiers.
- Lead and manage complex projects throughout their full lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to the final commercial close.
- Manage and coordinate projects with long decision-making cycles involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring overall project coherence in collaboration with internal technical and commercial teams.
- Develop active specification/prescription activity with private and public clients, architects, general contractors and other key building stakeholders.
- Build, develop and maintain a high-level decision-making network and generate sustainable business opportunities.
- Involve and engage project engineers in the development of technical and commercial solutions.
- Ensure account follow-up with the sector sales engineers.
- Report market trends and developments.
- Maintain project reporting in the CRM.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school in construction or from a business school.
- At least 10 years' experience in specification/prescription and significant experience in complex, highly decision-driven environments.
- Strong knowledge of stakeholders, decision-making processes, issues and award procedures for public and private building/real estate contracts.
- Solid understanding of land/property, financial and technical issues.
- Strong ability to adapt your communication according to hierarchical level and strategic priorities.

- Compensation includes a fixed salary paid over 13 months between €55,000 and €60,000 gross per year depending on profile, plus a sales incentive of €18,000 per year at target (paid quarterly).
