About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with leadership to assess and refine the organization’s structure and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Analyze workforce trends to optimize organizational effectiveness and support change management
- Develop workforce plans to meet current and future talent needs
- Identify skills shortages and develop strategies for talent acquisition, development and retention
- Work with leadership to provide HR insights and develop solutions that enable effective decision-making and HR strategy
- Advise on leadership development, succession planning and coaching to enhance leadership capabilities
- Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, assessing and selecting top talent
- Lead initiatives to attract, source and hire diverse and qualified candidates
- Facilitate internal promotion opportunities to support career development within the company
- Identify high-potential employees and collaborate with leaders to create robust succession plans
- Partner with management to define performance expectations and corporate objectives
- Introduce performance management practices that encourage continuous feedback and employee engagement
- Monitor performance review processes for fairness and consistency and ensure alignment with employees’ development goals
- Identify training needs, design learning programs and collaborate with Learning & Development teams to enhance employees’ skills and competencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in HR, ideally in a strategic HR role or leadership position
- Additional qualifications in coaching, change management or organizational development are a plus
- **Professional knowledge & skills:**
- Strong expertise in organizational development, workforce planning and strategic workforce management
- Experience analyzing HR and organizational trends to derive optimization measures
- Proven experience developing and implementing talent strategies (recruiting, retention, talent development)
- Knowledge of modern recruiting methods as well as diversity and inclusion strategies
- Solid understanding of succession planning and identification and development of high potentials
- Experience designing and implementing performance management systems
- Ability to align HR and business objectives and support leaders in defining targets
- Knowledge in Learning & Development, including needs analysis, training planning and cooperation with L&D teams
- Experience in change management and supporting organizational transformations
- Confident use of HR analytics and interpretation of relevant metrics to support decision-making
- Ability to design and facilitate decision-making processes with leadership teams
- Very good German and good English skills
