About the role

  • Financial statements and group accounting: You independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) (and in the future also under IFRS) and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
  • Account reconciliations and reporting: You perform account reconciliations and produce accurate, timely reports for management and executive leadership.
  • Intercompany reconciliations: You are responsible for reconciliations and settlements within the group and ensure the smooth processing of intercompany transactions.
  • Process optimization: You identify improvement opportunities in accounting and closing processes and actively contribute to optimizing internal procedures.
  • Audit contact: You act as the primary contact for auditors and tax advisors and independently lead and manage the annual audit engagements.
  • Project participation: Support the implementation of a new finance system landscape (SAP S/4HANA) for the entire corporate group.

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training, a degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification (tax clerk qualifications are also welcome).
  • You possess solid knowledge of HGB and ideally hold an additional qualification, such as the Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK).
  • You are eager to develop further in the area of IFRS on a long-term basis.
  • You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and common ERP systems; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • With a hands-on mentality, you adapt well to agile finance processes and enjoy taking on new challenges.
  • You have several years of professional experience in accounting and are familiar with typical corporate finance processes.
