About the role

  • Supporting Sales Teams and Business Managers by providing product information, technical expertise, application and process recommendations, and resolution of product issues through customer visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Serving as a technical resource for key customers by advising on activated carbon uses and communicating the benefits and performance of NORIT products.
  • Coordinating closely with Sales and R&D to deliver timely, high‑quality technical support and contribute to successful technical sales efforts.
  • Researching and developing deep expertise in assigned market segments and customer processes, while actively sharing knowledge within the Application Support Team.
  • Delivering technical training to Sales Teams and internal stakeholders on NORIT products, applications, and customer processes.
  • Providing product training presentations to customers and distributors and support Sales‑led training initiatives with appropriate resources.
  • Leading or supporting marketing efforts in assigned market segments, including market updates, sales leads, and development of technical marketing literature.
  • Staying current on customer applications and market developments by attending conferences, webinars, trade shows, and customer sites.
  • Leading or supporting complaint investigations by identifying root causes, defining corrective actions, and acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Representing NORIT at exhibitions and seminars to promote products, technologies, and application solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, with Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of process stream filtration and liquid and vapor purification technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical or application support role.
  • Proven credibility as a technical advisor through knowledge of manufacturing technologies, implementation, and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong active listening skills with the ability to accurately interpret customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity for innovative thinking and practical solution development.
