About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all demand planning activities to support strategic initiatives in a growing business environment.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and ensure the application of best practices to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance) to maintain high service levels while optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and integration of the Demand Planning process within the organization.
  • Report to the Head of Global Planning overseeing the demand planning function for prescription medications.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and planning within a pharmaceutical or FMCG setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and improve processes with a strong understanding of S&OP and IBP methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficient in using demand planning software and ERP systems; familiarity with tools like SAP, JD Edwards and Logility is mandatory.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights that influence demand planning.
  • Proficient in using MS Power Apps (i.e Power BI)
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and timelines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strategic outlook on planning processes.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapid growth, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
