About the role

  • Act on the functional analysis of requests, translating business needs into clear, structured, and understandable specifications for the technical team.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation, detailing flows, business rules, integrations, exceptions, and use cases, with support from the development team when necessary.
  • Work together with the Product Owner on backlog refinement, ensuring that requests are ready for development (Definition of Ready).
  • Interact with developers to assess technical feasibility, identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts on existing solutions.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders (internal and/or external), ensuring a complete understanding of needs.
  • Define and document clear and measurable acceptance criteria for each request.
  • Support the team in effort estimation by collecting and consolidating estimates from developers.
  • Validate deliveries by performing functional tests and ensuring the results meet the acceptance criteria before release.
  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or improvement opportunities during the development and validation cycle.
  • Collaborate with the support team in analyzing incidents, contributing functional diagnostics and root cause identification.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
  • Experience in eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.
  • Process modeling and definition of business rules.
  • Identification of business rules, exceptions, and alternative scenarios.
  • Writing complete and well-organized functional specifications.
  • Creation of acceptance criteria and execution of functional tests.
  • Ability to perform impact analysis and validate solutions.
  • Ability to discuss technical matters with developers without full dependence.
  • Clear communication between technical and business areas.
  • The following are considered a plus:
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One.
  • Experience with testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and/or marketplace structures.
