About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Systems Analysts
  • Set the bar for quality and accountability
  • Support individual career development through ongoing feedback
  • Lead assigned portions of the HRIS operational portfolio
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on HRIS matters
  • Partner with HR, Technology, Payroll, Finance, and system vendors
  • Operate and continuously improve the governance model for HR systems
  • Own end-to-end execution, documentation, and continuous improvement of assigned HR business processes
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations
  • Contribute to HR transformation and the multi-year technology roadmap
  • Own the MyNordstrom knowledge base, intake forms, and analytics
  • Maintain reliable, compliant data exchange across HR and enterprise systems
  • Provide operational support for core HR platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS/HR technology in large, complex enterprise environments
  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing system analysts
  • Demonstrated experience with system configuration, integrations, and user permission management within HRIS platforms
  • Workday and/or ServiceNow experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with HR data security, compliance requirements, and audit standards
  • Proficiency with HRIS reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices
