About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve a multi-year product vision for customer identity
- Own the strategy for how Nordstrom recognizes and authenticates customers across every channel
- Lead discovery and requirements definition for authentication initiatives
- Frame organization-wide tradeoff decisions with conviction
- Own the identity fraud strategy
- Lead customer and market research
- Break down roadmaps into releasable features
- Design testing, measurement, and telemetry to validate hypotheses
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure incidents are triaged, communicated, and resolved
- Orchestrate comprehensive planning sessions across dependencies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9+ years of product management experience with demonstrated progression of scope and impact
- Deep expertise in identity, authentication, or adjacent domains
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-phase technical products
- Experience in retail, fintech, or consumer-facing technology
- Sufficient technical knowledge to collaborate with engineering
- Demonstrated ability to craft multi-year product visions
- Strong analytical skills to design measurement plans and interpret data
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep commitment to understanding customer needs.
