About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand and apply fundamental concepts, general administrative principles, practices and procedures of finance and accounting
- Assist with development of financial models to address business needs
- Create and analyze period financial reporting to ensure accuracy and insight
- Help identify and present trends and opportunities to support management decisions
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners
- Assist with the annual budget process and support business and finance partners to ensure plan meets designated Company timeline, desired outcomes and financial targets
- Support month-end close, forecasting and variance analysis
- Ad hoc reporting, projects, and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or BS degree
- 1+ year of related financial experience, can include internship experience
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis
- Commitment to customer service and high-quality deliverables
- Fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Cognos and/or Essbase (preferred)
