About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a key thought partner to senior leadership across categories
- Shape experiences that bring Nordstrom values to life
- Establish and maintain design standards across store types
- Drive consistency across multiple categories and store types
- Present creative concepts clearly and persuasively to audiences
- Own the end-to-end creative concept process from ideation through in-store rollout adaptation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in concept design through project execution
- Supported by a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Strong foundation in experiential design within fast-paced luxury retail environments
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in industry tools (SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Revit/AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Smartsheet)
- Willingness to travel up to 50% in support of business goals
