About the role
- Assist Technical Design Team to develop clear, concise Tech Packs to include measurement worksheet and construction images to align with Design intent and Brand DNA
- Assist in evaluating samples to ensure product specifications, quality and construction standards are executed
- Measure samples
- Support Technical Design Team and participate in fit sessions as needed
- Support Technical Design Team to meet calendar milestones and due dates
- Support internal teams to maintain sample organization throughout development and production lifecycle
- Assist in special projects as directed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, Pattern Making or equivalent industry experience
- 1+ years of experience in Technical Design, preferably within Women's apparel.
- Organization and time management skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills, including clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop
- Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management Software, preferred
- Exposure to 3D apparel development preferred – Browzwear, CLO, Optitex
- Exposure to 2D pattern software preferred – Gerber Accumark, Optitex
