About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead deployment of improvement projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives
- Engage with all functions and organizational levels to teach, develop, and provide hands-on coaching
- Mentor employees in identifying and eliminating waste
- Serve as the conduit between the business and IT
- Develop, validate, and deploy related reports, tools, and process improvements
- Develop, train, and coach employees in Continuous Improvement fundamentals
- Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, build reports, and improve information metrics and data reporting
- Define, execute, and lead short- and long-term Continuous Improvement strategy for ICS Business NBS standardization and global best-practice sharing
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and problem-solving projects with business functions to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost, as well as commercial and engineering functions
- Maintain the project pipeline supporting divisional strategic business initiatives
- Travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant degree is preferred; 12 years of relevant experience is required in lieu of a degree
- 8–12 years of SAP experience preferred, particularly in Engineering Change Management, Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning, and Shop Floor Control
- 4–6 years of progressive Continuous Improvement experience demonstrating business acumen, leadership, and ability to drive results
- Change management/transformational experience required
- Proficiency in Lean thinking applied in operations and transactional environments
- Experience leading process mapping sessions via SIPOC or comparable processes
- Experience building and tracking projects with a detailed project plan
- Mastery of complex data analytics
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP
- Ability to think creatively and analytically
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to lead initiatives collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated effective execution of concurrent projects and ability to multitask
- Ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work successfully in an office and manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally
