Application Specialist – Field Service Engineer, Industrial Coating Systems

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across the EMEA region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system performance
- Conduct equipment audits, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide recommendations that help customers optimize their manufacturing processes
- Install, commission, and support industrial coating and dispensing systems at customer locations
- Deliver technical training to customer operators and maintenance teams to ensure effective use and maintenance of equipment
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as a trusted technical advisor
- Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades, and service improvements
- Plan customer visits efficiently and maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and CRM records
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, customer service, and technical support teams across Europe and North America
Requirements
What you’ll need- Electrical qualification or electrician certification
- 3+ years of technical experience (or equivalent technical background)
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
