About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, maintain, and repair x-ray inspection systems at customer locations.
- Perform system upgrades and deliver hands-on training to customers.
- Generate detailed service documentation including reports, protocols, and RMAs.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend service solutions.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and support via phone and online tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to analyze and resolve system failures.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, service tickets, and knowledge base entries.
- Own and follow up on open issues post-installation or upgrade.
- Offer feedback to engineering and operations to support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when needed.
- Assist with spare parts identification and support order processing.
- Provide technical input for aftermarket product quotations.
- Travel internationally, primarily within Europe, with occasional global assignments.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns and feedback.
- Develop and distribute user manuals and troubleshooting guides as needed.
- Deliver service training to distributors and regional teams.
- Support product demonstrations when required.
