About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assemble and install electrical components in wind turbine nacelles and hubs
Route and secure wiring harnesses, connectors, and control systems
Use testing equipment to verify electrical continuity and system functionality
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Complete specific production tasks within designated timeframes and exceed production benchmarks
Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve electrical assembly procedures
Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Support other production areas as assigned by the supervisor
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot potential electrical connectivity issues with PQA and Engineering
Assist mechanical assembly operators as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
Electrical certifications or technical training
3+ years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing
Experience in wind turbines, industrial, or automotive electrical systems
Ability to read work instructions
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with overhead crane operation
Ability to achieve and maintain crane operator certification (Required)
Willingness to obtain relevant electrical safety certifications
Familiarity with multimeters, crimping tools, and diagnostic equipment
Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test (as Required)
Working at heights
Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System is a plus
Strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
Proper use of applicable safety equipment, including eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats
Fluency in spoken and understood English
Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
