About the role

  • Contribute to software development for control and automation functions of wind turbines within the operations management area
  • Support the development and implementation of control-related functions for Nordex wind turbines
  • Take responsibility for defined sub-development tasks within the operations software development team
  • Create and maintain technical software documentation for developed functions
  • Develop supporting applications for automated release creation
  • Collaborate within an agile software development team and coordinate with related departments

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program, preferably Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field
  • Initial practical or theoretical experience in PLC programming according to IEC 61131
  • Basic experience in model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Good English skills, spoken and written, for collaboration in an international environment
  • Structured, analytical and independent working style for technical tasks
  • Team player with an interest in complex technical interrelationships in software development for wind turbines
