About the role
- Contribute to software development for control and automation functions of wind turbines within the operations management area
- Support the development and implementation of control-related functions for Nordex wind turbines
- Take responsibility for defined sub-development tasks within the operations software development team
- Create and maintain technical software documentation for developed functions
- Develop supporting applications for automated release creation
- Collaborate within an agile software development team and coordinate with related departments
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program, preferably Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field
- Initial practical or theoretical experience in PLC programming according to IEC 61131
- Basic experience in model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink
- Good English skills, spoken and written, for collaboration in an international environment
- Structured, analytical and independent working style for technical tasks
- Team player with an interest in complex technical interrelationships in software development for wind turbines
