About the role
- Provide strategic guidance and advanced analysis to optimize cloud costs and improve financial accountability
- Assess processes using the FinOps Foundation Framework, spot gaps and provide recommendations
- Qualify and quantify cost optimization recommendations for AWS, Azure or Google with value, plan and risk assessments
- Conduct data analysis (Excel, PowerQuery, BI) and visualize results for customers
- Build tailored monthly reporting and insights to influence customer ecosystem, track savings and allocate costs
- Establish productive partnerships with hyperscalers to execute projects successfully
- Collaborate with pre-sales and sales to improve cost communication with clients and promote best practices
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Demonstrable proficiency in Azure or AWS or Google Cloud (understand why and how they are used on a high-level)
- Familiarity with native and external cloud cost management tools for Azure, AWS or Google
- Practical experience with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), BI and in-depth data analysis (e.g., Excel PowerQuery)
- In-depth comprehension of cloud services pricing and payment models, including Use and Rate Optimisation techniques
- Experience with Power BI or other analytical tools
- Strong communication skills; fluent English
- Ability to build influential reports/decks to influence customers and stakeholders
- Initiative mindset; proactive learning and decision-making
- Collaboration skills to work with pre-sales, sales and hyperscaler partners
- Right to work in Poland (must have legal authorization)
- Plus: SQL and/or Python proficiency for extracting and processing data (S3, Athena, BigQuery, Blob Storage, etc.)
- Plus: Knowledge of FinOps tooling such as Cloudability, Flexera, CloudHealth or similar
