About the role

  • Implementation of custom Shopify storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript
  • Further development and performance optimization of existing themes
  • Development of modular components and templates for scalable frontend projects
  • Support on complex projects using modern technologies
  • Close collaboration with UX/UI design and the backend team
  • Testing and quality assurance (responsiveness, SEO, Lighthouse, etc.)

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and JavaScript
  • Experience developing or customizing Shopify themes
  • Understanding of responsive web design, accessibility and performance
  • Experience with Git and modern toolchains (e.g. Shopify CLI, ThemeKit, VS Code, Cursor)
  • Confident communication skills in German and English
