About the role

  • Design and develop production-grade solutions in Rust, Go or C
  • Solve problems in security, performance, privacy and networking
  • Collaborate with Low-Level and SRE teams from architecture to production deployment

Requirements

  • Habit of going deep - reading RFCs and kernel changelogs
  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to lead software from conception to production
  • Solid software engineering knowledge in at least one strongly typed programming language
  • Deep understanding of Linux operating system
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (UDP, TCP, IP, DNS, QUIC, TLS)
  • Good debugging skills
  • Experience with GitLab and core CI/CD principles
  • Actively contributes to team knowledge through code reviews and mentoring
  • Virtualization knowledge
