About the role

  • Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases for Windows-based desktop applications
  • Test critical application functionalities (installation, updating, integration)
  • Participate in full testing lifecycle: analyze requirements, prepare test cases, conduct regression testing
  • Investigate and document defects, providing actionable recommendations
  • Drive development and execution of quality improvement strategies
  • Own and manage regression test backlog: create, prioritize, refine test suites
  • Engage in QA Guild community by sharing insights and contributing to standards

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in manual software testing
  • Advanced knowledge of test design and various testing techniques
  • Strategic thinking and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with the team
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • (Bonus) Logging & Debugging: Windows Event Viewer, log analysis tools
  • (Bonus) Network Debugging: Wireshark, Fiddler
