About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and drive the regional education strategy in partnership with the Regional Managing Director and regional team.
  • Use data to identify trends in educational performance across schools, and establish clear goals and timelines for school improvement.
  • Support school leaders in strategic planning and rigorous self-evaluation.
  • Provide strategic leadership of all school improvement work in the region, including quality assurance processes aligned to the NAE framework.
  • Ensure full and appropriate delivery of the curricula offered in schools and support strong academic outcomes across all programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of school improvement activity, sharing findings and effective practice across the network.
  • Support schools in building robust systems for collecting, analysing and acting on student performance data.
  • Support and influence the Professional Learning Strategy so it addresses key issues across the region and builds staff capacity.
  • Lead the education due diligence process for prospective new schools in the region.
  • Build trusted, productive relationships with principals and school leaders across the region.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant senior leadership experience in education, with a strong track record in school improvement across multiple schools or a network.
  • Deep knowledge of the K-12 range and the ability to engage credibly with school leaders on curriculum, assessment and outcomes.
  • Experience working in or with international schools, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities they present.
  • Skilled use of data and evidence to drive decision-making and evaluate impact.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Experience leading or contributing to quality assurance processes across a group of schools.
