About the role
- Lead a highly successful performing arts department across the whole school
- Provide strategic leadership for performing arts, music, and drama from Primary to Secondary
- Oversee the department’s contribution to the co-curricular programme
- Create enthusiasm and engagement with performing arts
- Ensure regular and frequent performances
- Foster a nurturing environment for students to excel
- Plan strategically for developing performing arts as the school grows
Requirements
- Qualified to bachelor degree level or above
- Qualified Teacher Status
- High level of training and qualifications in music or theatre
- Proven track record with at least five years’ teaching experience
- Demonstrable evidence of innovating and adapting curriculum to engage children and enable them to perform highly
- Strong organizational skills and use of ICT
