About the role
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the HR Culture & Talent Director, ensuring effective execution of all HR initiatives and talent acquisition.
- Develop and drive a comprehensive people strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Set strategic goals for employee career mapping and training.
- Mitigate talent, cultural and legal risk by aligning people strategy with business goals.
- Establish priorities, KPIs, and accountability across HR, culture, and talent functions.
- Shape and align culture across multiple companies and states.
- Help manage the ESOP committee by working with the committee chairperson to drive employee ownership mentality and culture.
- Work across departments to help drive core values and overall vision of the company.
- Oversee multi-state and multi-entity HR compliance through the compliance specialist, covering labor laws, benefits, and employee relations.
- Develop and oversee the management training for HR compliance with operational leaders.
- Maintain executive oversight of HR compliance, policies, and risk management.
- Act as the strategic architect, aligning human capital strategy with business goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior or executive roles.
- Proven success in multi-state and multi-company HR strategy
- Experience leading through other HR leaders (not just direct execution).
- Experience in talent, leadership development and expertise in Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP’s) a plus.
- Experience in the construction services space a plus.
