Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by developing sophisticated strategic models that capture the unique complexities of our insurance and administrative services business model.
Serve as a key strategic partner to department heads, offering financial expertise and actionable guidance to help them achieve their operational and financial objectives.
Architect and automate high-impact management reporting packages that monitor KPIs, surface critical trends, and evaluate budget vs. actual performance for executive reviews and Board presentations.
Build and maintain advanced financial models to analyze client and broker profitability, claim and reserve dynamics, staffing requirements, and prospective M&A or partnership initiatives.
Optimize financial systems and workflows to enhance the speed and precision of reporting, with a dedicated focus on leveraging AI-driven tools to drive operational innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to high-impact FP&A leadership roles.
Deep expertise within the insurance, administrative services, SaaS, or financial services sectors is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; advanced credentials such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA are strongly desired.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the development of sophisticated strategic models and sensitivity analyses.
Hands-on proficiency with advanced financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Vena.
Familiarity with enterprise-grade ERP systems like NetSuite or Intacct, alongside BI and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
Proven ability to leverage AI-driven tools to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and operational innovation.
Superior ability to translate intricate financial data into clear, compelling narratives for executive-level review.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
A meticulous eye for detail balanced by a broad, strategic "big picture" perspective.
