About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the technical delivery of projects, from solution design and documentation to testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate internal teams and ensure deliverables are completed within the specified timescales.
  • Engage with clients to determine requirements, agree solutions, review documentation, agree test plans, and present results.
  • Design solutions during the presales stage and finalise designs during the project phase.
  • Create project documentation in line with requirements and planning.
  • Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and on-site acceptance testing (SAT) to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot issues through direct investigation or by coordinating with internal teams or manufacturers.
  • Manage the handover to clients or in-house support staff, including training.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least three years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as switches, routers, and access points.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking, wireless technologies, and Linux platforms.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN and VLAN IP planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux.
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices including switches, routers, access points, and associated cabling.
  • Troubleshooting and problem management experience in a networking environment.
  • Good understanding of RF environments.
  • Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, IT, or Computing Engineering, or a related subject.
