About the role

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the Mission Critical Segment, including Research and Education Networks.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the target market.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase the value of Nokia's IP/MPLS solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for both Nokia and our customers.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about Nokia's product portfolio and communicate the benefits to potential customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our solutions and meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the telecom or networking industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business opportunities, with a focus on the Education Networks within the Mission Critical Segment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales/business development tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
