About the role
- Develop C/C++ code to add feature functionality or enhancements in the current release of our 1830 product code base
- Diagnose and implement solutions to software defects found by our product verification team during testing of the 1830 product
- Gain hands-on experience working with a large-scale, real-time embedded system
- Learn from and work closely with a team of experienced software engineers, contributing to feature enhancements and product improvements
- Exposure to working in a global multicultural development organization
Requirements
- Experience with C/C++ from your university courses or prior work experience
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
- (Nice to have) Experience with Linux
- (Nice to have) Experience with version control systems like Git
- (Nice to have) Experience with Python
